My wish for you is PEACE.
Peace beyond circumstance, peace beyond understanding, and peace because you take care of yourself physically.
What does that look like?
Do you feel energized to get through your day? Do you feel healthy in body, mind and spirit? Can you get done what you need to and want to each day? Do you exercise regularly? (even if it is just a walk outside?) Do you eat healthy foods that fuel your body? Do you make good choices when you drink? Do you get enough rest and wake up with energy?
How we handle this is important. Being intentional and MAKING time to do these things is important. We can always say we don’t have time, but the reality is that we didn’t make time, or we made time for something else. Getting outside and getting some fresh air, some sunshine; even if it is just a walk around the block or around the building in the middle of the day is perspective changing. Taking a walk with someone provides a space (because you are side by side) to have conversations that might be hard to have face to face. Doing something that increases your heart rate can improve your health long term—even if your heart rate is increased intermittently over a short period of time. Getting exercise also helps your mental well-being. It helps clear the mind, get perspective and step away. It can help you sleep better at night.
You have 168 hours in a week. I encourage you to find 2 or 3 of them to dedicate to taking care of yourself. It can make a world of difference.
My wish for you is peace and I know that being healthy in a physical and mental sense can make that peace more obtainable.
